The category's theme relates to the hundredth anniversary of Wisława Szymborska's birth. It offers a look at the legacy of the outstanding poet through the lens of a camera, and an attempt to interpret her poems through the prism of photography.In each category, the Jury consisting of professional photographers and photography theoreticians will choose the winning photo and award one distinction. Out of all the photographs submitted in the competition, the Rector of Jagiellonian University, Professor Jacek Popiel, will choose one whose author will be awarded the Special Award.
