We cordially invite you to participate in the seventh edition of the 'Camera Jagellonica' – a photo competition, which aims to integrate the academic community, bring closer the history of the university, and highlight its current achievements. Therefore, we encourage students, PhD students, graduates and sympathisers of the University to submit photos.

The 6th edition of the Camera Jagellonica competition is over and we already know whose works have been awarded by the jury! The jury members evaluated the photographic works in the three established categories: ‘Architecture’, ‘Student Life’ and ‘Impressions’, as well as an occasional category – ‘Stopped the Sun, Moved the Earth’, which foreshadows the upcoming Year of Nicolaus Copernicus. There were also three special awards, granted by the Rector of Jagiellonian University and the editors of ‘Alma Mater’ and ‘Cafe Nauka’.

On 24 November, the results of the fifth jubilee edition of the Camera Jagellonica competition were announced. In addition to photographs in the 'Architecture', 'Student Life' and 'Impressions' categories, participants were also able to submit their work on the theme of ecology (the 'There was an Earth' category). A complete new addition to Camera Jagellonica this year was the possibility of preparing short videos. We are delighted to announce that the jubilee edition of the competition attracted a record number of submissions - more than 250 photos and films!

The fourth edition of the Camera Jagellonica photo competition is already behind us! Due to circumstances around us, this edition was a special one: the authors were able to present their photos in a new category ‘World during a pandemic’, and the announcement of the results took place remotely.
